What does a physio do?
We thoroughly assess most physical conditions / injuries of the body (bone, muscle, tendon, joints etc) then implement treatment focused on helping you restore, maintain and optimise your daily function, sport performance, general movement and overall well-being by addressing the underlying cause.
What conditions do you treat?
Treatments include, but are not limited to:
- Back pain / Sciatica
- Neck pain / Headaches
- Sport injuries eg muscle strain / ligament sprain
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Tennis / Golfers elbow
- Respiratory conditions
Sports massage also available.
Treatment rates and Payment methods?
Treatment rates are approximately R490 per treatment session, excluding initial consultation (subject to change).
We accept cash, card, EFT and we submit to medical aid for you. (We can also check if you have enough funds left before treatment).
Do I need a referral to consult a Physio?
No. Physiotherapists are first line practitioners, meaning you do not need a doctors referral to visit us.
What is Pilates and why have it at a Physio practice?
It is a low-impact, full-body exercise regime that focuses on strengthening, stretching, and stabilizing your body. These CORE aspects are so important and effective in the management of multiple conditions, including lower back pain, as it emphasizes optimal postural alignment, core strength, muscle balance, and even mental awareness.
What are the class fees?
There are three sign-up options:
MONTHLY - discounted rates:
2 x week @ R80 / group class
1 x week @ R90 / group class
DROP-INS - attended at random:
@ R100 / group class
PRIVATE - best for individualized rehabilitation or for newbies who want to learn the basic concepts and movements of Pilates before joining group classes.
